Everton Women have announced the signing of Italian international Aurora Galli.
She has arrived from Juventus on a two-year deal, with an option to extend for a further year to 2024.
Galli is a serial winner who has scooped four Serie A championships, three Supercoppa Italiana titles and a Coppa Italia.
And she told the club website how happy she is to have signed for Willie Kirk’s side.
“I’m really happy to be here,” she said. “I’m looking forward to the start of the season and getting to know the girls, the staff and this club. I want to get us into the Champions League. It’s important that this club plays in Europe.
“This is an important move for me. It’s the first time I have moved away from my country. I want to help this club and my teammates achieve something.

“This league is very important. The competitiveness is really high. I want to learn from the league, my teammates and the manager to become a better player.
“Willie told me this is a special club. He told me how everyone attacks and defends together, which I like as it’s important to have that togetherness. I want to win everything that we can.
When she makes her debut Galli will be the first-ever Italian player to play in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League.
The midfielder is nicknamed ‘Yaya’, which might give Toffees fans an idea of what her game is like.
Kirk said that Galli is good at breaking up play but she is also ‘very good on the ball’.
And after four years in Turin, she’s ready for a new challenge, helping Everton try and break into the three teams who have dominated women’s football in this country for a number of years now.
