James Tarkowski has heaped praise onto Jarrad Branthwaite and claimed the defender is ready for an England call-up.
Everton‘s defensive quality has been immense lately, with three consecutive clean sheets helping Sean Dyche‘s team leap up the table.
James Tarkowski has been a vital part of that record as he looks back to his best under Dyche once again.
Tarkowski has been joined in being immense by his partner Jarrad Branthwaite who has been a revelation this season and exactly what Everton hoped upon his return from a year-long loan at PSV.
Now, the senior of the two has been praising his junior teammate with Tarkowski affirming his beliefs that Branthwaite is going right to the top.

James Tarkowski praises Jarrad Branthwaite
Speaking on Tuesday morning while on talkSPORT, Tarkowski discussed his Toffees teammate Branthwaite and mentioned that he sees the defender as a definite international sooner or later.
“Oh comfortably, comfortably, and I want it to happen sooner rather than later. Some player who’s got everything, he’s got everything you need. I said, he’s playing with such experience already at such a young age, so it won’t be long until he’s in that squad.”
Tarkowski is clearly a big fan of his Goodison Park teammate and backs him to reach the top level of football in receiving a call from Gareth Southgate.
The 21-year-old will be expecting to receive a call if he keeps this form up for the rest of the campaign and will have one eye firmly on the European Championships next summer.
Where does Branthwaite fit in for England?
Branthwaite has been so good this season that several of the Premier League’s top sides are now showing an interest, but have been quoted a hefty asking price.
Newcastle United and Manchester United are both believed to hold an interest in the 6ft 4 centre-half. But if Southgate does make that call, where does he fit in?
England’s centre-back contingent is among the strongest worldwide with Harry Maguire, John Stones, Marc Guehi, Fikayo Tomori and Levi Colwill all there to name a few.
Branthwaite being left-footed would see Colwill and the right-footed Maguire as his primary competition although on form he absolutely bests both for us.
