The Toffees are not alone as Tottenham Hotspur also want to sign Wilson among a host of other Premier League clubs.
Despite leaving Liverpool almost five years ago for Fulham, Wilson has told BBC Sport that the club will always hold a special place in his heart.
“So, what was it like coming through Liverpool’s academy?” asked the reporter
“Yeah, amazing. It’s kind of all I knew, really,” Wilson replied.
Would this put you off bringing Harry Wilson to Everton this summer? 😬
He's been quality this season too… 😫
“Being a Liverpool fan and getting to go and train there and learn and create friendships and memories that I’ve got for life was amazing.”
David Moyes is a big fan of Wilson, and it is hard not to be, given the season he has enjoyed under Marco Silva.
Wilson has returned a seriously impressive number of goals and assists for the Cottagers this term as he plays for a new contract.
Wilson would not be the first Premier League footballer to play for the rivals of the side they support if he was to join Everton this summer.
However, it will be interesting to see how those comments may potentially go down on Merseyside if he were to make the return to the north west.
