Everton are back in Premier League action on Monday evening as they take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
David Moyes will be desperate to bounce back after his Everton side suffered a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Toffees are up against a Sunderland outfit who are flying high after gaining promotion via the play-offs last term.
The Black Cats currently reside in fourth and are fresh off the back of a 2-1 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

With that said, here is Everton’s predicted starting line-up for the game as Moyes makes a number of tactical changes.

David Moyes starts Tyler Dibling in major Everton reshuffle vs Sunderland
Everton fans have been questioning why Tyler Dibling isn’t getting more opportunities after he was yet again an unused substitute against Tottenham.
The £40m summer signing has started just one league game, so Moyes could start him at the Stadium of Light to bring something different in attack.
That also coincides with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall dropping deeper and Iliman Ndiaye moving into his more favoured number 10 role.
Dewsbury-Hall has looked a bit lost in the attacking midfield position and admitted earlier this month that he’s more comfortable playing as an eight.
Jake O’Brien has also come under criticism due to his lack of attacking threat, so he could return to centre-back with James Garner replacing him at right-back.
And lastly, Thierno Barry will surely be given a proper run in the side after Beto once again failed to make an impact against Spurs.

Everton’s recent record vs Sunderland
Monday’s game will be the first time Everton have played Sunderland in over eight years, dating back to September 2017.
The Toffees actually have a really strong recent record against the Black Cats, having won four of their last five meetings.
| 01 Nov 2015 | Everton v Sunderland | W | 6-2 | Premier League |
| 11 May 2016 | Sunderland v Everton | L | 3-0 | Premier League |
| 12 Sep 2016 | Sunderland v Everton | W | 0-3 | Premier League |
| 25 Feb 2017 | Everton v Sunderland | W | 2-0 | Premier League |
| 20 Sep 2017 | Everton v Sunderland | W | 3-0 | League Cup |
But, this time they’re up against a Sunderland side who will probably be the favourites, quite remarkably, especially since they’re at home.
Regis Le Bris’ side are yet to taste defeat at the Stadium of Light this season, so Everton will have to be on their A game.
