Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye has enjoyed a really productive season.

Iliman Ndiaye has registered four goal involvements in seven Premier League games and looks even better than last year.

The Senegal international, who has admitted he’s been working with analysts, has gone up a level under David Moyes’ stewardship.

Ndiaye has now revealed that he’s been working on one key tactical change with Jack Grealish that has massively improved his game.

Iliman Ndiaye shares tactical change he’s made this season

Speaking to Everton’s website, Ndiaye has revealed that he’s been working on attacking the back post with Grealish on the training pitch.

“I can also do different things than what I’ve done before,” the 25-year-old explained.

“For example, and I was speaking about this with Iddy (Idrissa Gana Gueye) recently, but last season, you would rarely find me at the back post trying to score there but now I have that confidence I can do that and also feel like I have to be in there because something is always going to happen.

“I’ve found myself being in the opposition’s box a lot more and vice versa, when I have the ball, I think Jack (Grealish) has been trying to get in on the other side as well.

“I think the more we play together, the better the understanding will be and the better we’ll get as a team.”

Iliman Ndiaye admits he’s loving life on Merseyside

Ndiaye also added that he absolutely loves living in Merseyside, and his family are nicely settled.

“It’s great here, I love it,” the Everton winger said. “I’ve spent half of my life here in England so I’m very used to it! When I came back here from France, I settled back in immediately because I know it so well.

“This Club is amazing, living in Formby is amazing, so everything is good. My kids enjoy being here, too. I think the eldest is starting to understand it a bit more now.

“They love seeing me play and seeing me on TV and coming to the stadium, which is incredible.”

Ndiaye has quickly established himself as a fan favourite since making the switch from Marseille in 2024 and he seems to feed off that energy.

Certainly exciting times ahead for the Toffees playmaker.
