Everton are back in Premier League action on Monday as they take on Manchester United under the lights at Old Trafford.

David Moyes will be keen to get one over his former club and make it back-to-back wins after beating Fulham before the break.

Although the Scotsman has never actually won at Old Trafford, so Everton will no doubt be the heavy underdogs.

What is your prediction for Man United vs Everton?

Moyes could shake things up by starting Seamus Coleman after his heroics for the Republic of Ireland during the international break.

And, he should seriously consider giving Tyler Dibling a chance from the bench due to his performance against United around this time last year.

Why David Moyes must give Tyler Dibling an opportunity vs Man United

Dibling’s full Premier League debut actually came against Manchester United in September last year, and he absolutely destroyed them.

Over to you David Moyes…

“He’s the most talented player I’ve ever seen. Tyler has every capability to go and play for England and at a top level club for a very long time.”

Former Southampton boss Russell Martin on Tyler Dibling

Despite the teenager being on the losing team, many came away from that game stunned by the teenage wide player.

Dibling won a penalty after a mazy run and should’ve really had an assist had it not been for his profligate teammates.

The former Southampton star also produced a terrific display in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford, so Moyes should be more than confident in giving him some minutes on Monday.

Dibling has only played 62 minutes of league football this term and has been an unused substitute in the last three games.

Manchester United were actually interested in Tyler Dibling before he joined Everton

According to ESPN, Man United actually planned to sign Dibling if they won the Europa League, but Tottenham Hotspur scuppered those plans.

It was reported that United’s finances without Europe meant a move for Dibling was too expensive, although they still ended up shelling out in excess of £200m.

Just think who Everton could have signed instead for £40m… Did Everton make a mistake signing Tyler Dibling?

Either way, the Everton star was certainly a man in demand before Moyes landed his signature, so he’ll be frustrated by his lack of playing time.

Iliman Ndiaye is due to go to the Africa Cup of Nations next month, so Dibling will likely get his big break then.

Dibling has been impressing coaches around Finch Farm, and they’ve been quite surprised by his minutes.
