Arnaut Danjuma’s move to Everton was heavily influenced by Richarlison.
Speaking to the club, the Dutchman shared what the former Toffees forward had said as he helped convince him to make the move to Goodison Park.
Danjuma was initially set to join Everton during the January transfer window and had even met some of his teammates until an offer from Tottenham Hotspur arrived.
The winger made a last minute to decision to join Spurs on loan for the rest of the season, linking up with Richarlison in North London.

Six months later, Danjuma was given another chance to move to Merseyside and instantly agreed to it. It now appears that Everton fans could have Richarlison to thank for praising his former club during their time together last season.
Richarlison became a fan favourite during his time with the Toffees, bagging over 50 goals and 14 assists before signing for Spurs in a deal worth £60 million last summer.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The 26-year-old is clearly still a huge fan of Everton and would discuss his former club with Danjuma on a daily basis.
Richarlison is ‘in love’ with Everton
“Of course [I spoke to Richarlison],” Danjuma said. “I sat next to him in the changing room at Spurs as well. He’s an Everton fanatic, to say the least. He’s in love with the Club.
“He reminded me every single day. He’d say, ‘It’s a beautiful club, you know!’… Obviously, I spoke to him about the Club and he had nothing but good words to say.

“I didn’t have another conversation with him before joining this summer because I know his answers would have been the same.
“I spoke to Idrissa and Amadou before coming here as well and they’ve really helped me settle in to what is a good group since I arrived.
“Everyone I spoke to kind of just affirmed what I thought about the Club anyway.”
