Tom Davies was one of the stars of the show in Everton’s win at Anfield.
He bossed the midfield in some esteemed company as the Toffees picked up their famous victory.
That performance continued a strong recent run of form for Davies and in an exclusive interview, we asked former Everton goalkeeper Nigel Martyn what he’s made of the midfielder’s performances.
He feels Davies deserves all the plaudits coming his way and shared what’s impressed him the most about his displays.

He looks to have found a role in the team and what a joy it is to have a local lad and academy graduate dominating the Merseyside derby at Anfield.
