Hugo Ekitike is eager to move to the Premier League.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who has reported that the Paris Saint-Germain attacker would prefer a move to England over staying in Ligue 1.
Despite making his stay at PSG permanent for €28.5 million (£24.4m) last month, Ekitike has already been told he is surplus to requirements at the club. The arrivals of Ousmane Dembele, Kang-in Lee and Marco Asensio mean the Frenchman will be forced even further down the pecking order.

As a result, Ekitike has now attracted interest from a number of clubs. Everton are one of three Premier League sides linked with a move for the 21-year-old, with Romano previously reporting that they had made an attempt to sign him in a loan to buy deal.
Ekitike has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe, with Lyon also eager to snap him up. The French outfit were open to including Bradley Barcola in a swap deal with PSG.
Hugo Ekitike prefers a Premier League move
Writing in his exclusive CaughtOffside column, Romano said: “What I’m hearing now is that Lyon, more than big money, want players to be included in the deal. Of course a fee will be needed as well, but they believe they can take advantage of these negotiations by including players in the deal.

“Hugo Ekitike was one name discussed but he doesn’t want to join Lyon, he prefers a move to the Premier League.”

Talk of Everton’s interest in Ekitike has gone quiet recently, though they could be spurred on by Romano’s revelation.
West Ham are already in talks with PSG over a move for the youngster and could have a huge financial advantage over the Toffees if they are to meet the £30m valuation. Nottingham Forest are also reportedly interested in signing Ekitike.
