Everton’s final game of the season is on Sunday afternoon, as they make the trip to St James’ Park to take on Champions League chasing Newcastle United.

The Toffees will end the season in 13th place no matter the results, so it’s been a mission success for David Moyes, who joined with the remit of keeping the club up.

The attention will quickly turn to next season, with the summer transfer window set to open at the start of June.

Everton are already one step closer to signing Angel Gomes, who announced last night that he will leave Lille at the end of his contract.

The new kit is also a hot topic come the end of the season, and with that said, here’s a first look at the potential 2025/26 edition.

Everton’s leaked 25/26 kit inspired by the banks of the River Mersey

Everton’s new home kit for the 2025/26 Premier League season is surfacing online, though, there is no official confirmation from the club.

According to Footy Headlines, the strip will feature a wave design which is inspired by the banks of the River Mersey.

Kit enthusiast @Luke1878 has illustrated the new design based on the leaks, so it gives a pretty accurate idea of what it’ll look like.

Subtle white accents are a theme, and the jagged horizontal pattern gives it a much more textured look than this year’s jersey.

The V-neck collar draws similarities to the iconic 1986-1989 strip, which was worn during Everton’s glory days.

The Toffees won the title and two Charity Shields in that period, so they’ll certainly hope it can inspire similar success next season.

Castore proud to be designing Everton’s kits

Castore, who are part-owned by former tennis star Andy Murray, have been very public about their immense pride in designing Everton’s kits.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo earlier this month, founder Tom Beahon discussed how excited the company are about working with the Toffees.

“A lot of people said to me at the time that it (Everton) was a big risk, but we felt it was a massive opportunity,” Beahon said.

“Having met the new ownership group, having been to that new stadium, there is a palpable sense that there’s now a long-term vision here and there’s the commitment to stay the course to achieve that vision that, with no disrespect, was not there under the previous regime.

“So, it’s a very exciting time for the club and we’re proud to be part of it.”
