Former Everton winger Yannick Bolasie now wants to make a return to the Premier League.
Bolasie is currently a free agent after his contract with Turkish side Caykur Rizespor expired and the 34-year-old is searching for a new club.
The DR Congo international joined the Toffees in a £25m deal from Crystal Palace back in 2016 but sustained cruciate ligament damage just months after his move to Goodison Park.

Indeed, Bolasie’s injury saw him miss 12 months of football with the Blues, and the winger subsequently went on a series of loan deals to Aston Villa, Anderlecht, Sporting CP and Middlesbrough.
A permanent exit from Goodison Park occurred when his contract expired in the summer of 2021, with the attacker joining Turkish outfit Carkur Rizespor, however the 34-year-old now reportedly wants a return to the Premier League.
That is according to Foot Mercato, who report that the former Everton man wants to challenge himself in a top league once more before he retires.
Indeed, while the winger would prefer a move to the English top-flight, he would also be interested in a move to France, where he grew up.
Bolasie disappointed for Everton, but he was not alone
Bolasie’s time at Goodison Park didn’t quite work out as hoped, making just 29 Premier League appearances and scoring two goals.
The winger was signed following Farhad Moshiri’s 2016 investment in the club, when the sudden influx of cash at Everton saw them spend big for the first time in many years.

However, much of the money was misspent on players who have underperformed for the Blues, and subsequently seen the club regress, with Goodison Park witnessing back-to-back relegation fights over the past two years.
Indeed, with just one point out of the opening five Premier League games this season, it already appears that the Toffees will struggle once more as the worrying times continue for Sean Dyche’s side
