Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney are in agreement over what will happen during Everton’s final-day clash against Arsenal at The Emirates on Sunday.
Mikel Arteta’s side know a win, along with Manchester City dropping points, will secure the Gunners’ first Premier League title in 20 years.
For the travelling Evertonians heading to North London, the fixture could be Seamus Coleman’s last for the club, with the Irishman yet to decide on his future after being offered fresh Goodison Park terms.
On what promises to be a tense afternoon in the capital, particularly for the hosts, Rooney and Neville agree on what the result will be.
Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville predict ‘nervy’ afternoon for Arsenal against Everton

Speaking during The Overlap’s final day predictions, the former Manchester United pair claimed the fixture would be a low-scoring affair.
Neville started by saying: “I think Arsenal win, but it’s a tougher game than City have got.”
Rooney replied: “I think it will be similar to the United game where they go a goal up. 1-0 or 2-1, I can’t see Everton scoring, 1-0.”
Neville added: “I’ll go 1-0. I think it will be a bit nervy.”
Everton have the chance to spoil Arsenal’s slim title aspirations
If Manchester City somehow drop points against West Ham United, Everton will have the opportunity to spoil Arsenal’s title celebrations.
The longer the score stays 0-0, the more the frustration will grow at The Emirates.
And, as we’ve seen this season, the Toffees are more than content sitting deep and absorbing pressure. James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite will back their brilliant defensive capability and repel crosses into the box.
Of course, a home victory is the likely outcome, but underestimating Sean Dyche’s in-form Toffees would be a grave mistake.
For the travelling fans, a final-day victory at The Emirates would be the perfect way to build optimism heading into what is shaping up to be another troublesome summer at Goodison Park.
