Speaking after the game, David Moyes heaped praise on Beto: “I think he’s earned it a little bit from his work. I’ve always said, he never complains, he gets his head down. He’s an incredibly humble boy.”
The 28-year-old posted a photo of himself celebrating on Instagram with the caption: “UTFT!!”

Beto has received several comments from Everton players and former teammates on his Instagram post, evincing how well-liked he is.

Beto appeared to indicate that he sees his future at Everton in his post-match interview, having been linked with a move away since last summer.

The 10-cap international is out of contract next summer, so Moyes and his chiefs will have a key decision to make.
This summer would be the final chance for the Toffees to cash in on Beto for a decent fee, so they must either sell or offer him a new deal.
