Davy Klaassen is set to seal a transfer deadline day move to Inter Milan.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who has reported that the former Everton midfielder is already in Milan ahead of his medical.
Klaassen is scheduled to complete a permanent move from Ajax today, signing a contract with Inter until June 2025.
The Dutchman’s move to the Italian giants comes five years after departing Goodison Park after a disappointing spell in the Premier League.

The Toffees coughed up £23.6 million to sign Klaassen from Ajax in 2017, however he failed to score a single goal and only made a total of 16 appearances in all competitions.
Klaassen joined Werder Bremen for only £12m a year later, before earning himself a return to Ajax in 2020. After netting eight goals and providing eleven assists in the Eredivisie last season, the 30-year-old will now look to win more trophies in Italy.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Both Klaassen and Everton fans will want to forget about the midfielder’s time with the club, with the player clearly struggling to adapt to the differences between Dutch and English football.

The Netherlands international is just one example of some very poor recruitment from Everton over the years, while Sean Dyche will be hopeful this summer’s transfer business can be a lot more effective.
The Toffees have snapped up Klaassen’s compatriot in Arnaut Danjuma, who has looked like a positive addition in what has been an incredibly disappointing start to the new campaign.
The Dutch forward is one of five new signings so far – joining Beto, Youssef Chermiti, Ashley Young and Jack Harrison.
