Joleon Lescott thinks Beto could get really frustrated at Everton.
Speaking on TNT Sports, the pundit claimed that Beto could start to get annoyed if he isn’t given the chances to score goals during his time on Merseyside.
The striker netted against Doncaster Rovers midweek but failed to bag his first goal in the Premier League as Everton drew 2-2 against Sheffield United.
Beto put on a very promising display at Bramall Lane and was called out for a potential MOTM performance by TNT Sports’ commentators if it wasn’t for Cameron Archer, however Lescott has been left concerned.

The Toffees have struggled to score goals and create chances in recent years, though they looked a lot more reassuring this weekend.
However, Lescott believes Beto could be the one to be punished if he isn’t given enough service up top this season.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
“There has to be a balance,” Lescott said. “He’s going to get frustrated at times because if he’s doing work for the team but isn’t getting the chances to score goals, as much as he will have enjoyed that, he’s going to want to score and he’s going to be judged on that.
“Evertonians will be encouraged by his performance but they will want to see goals.”
Does Beto have anything to be worried about at Everton?
Beto scored ten goals in 33 appearances in the previous Serie A campaign and will be confident that he can address Everton’s goal problem and help them avoid relegation.

Lescott’s comments are certainly a concern due to their lack of threatening attackers, however they haven’t actually been short of chances this season.
Bar the hammering by Aston Villa, Everton haven’t actually looked that bad on the attack and have just failed to finish off chances.
Meanwhile, they will also welcome Dwight McNeil back to the starting line-up after the international break, while the likes of Dele Alli and Jack Harrison can also make their mark later in the campaign.
