Wilfried Gnonto is still unsure about joining Everton.
That’s according to GIVEMESPORT journalist Dean Jones, who has claimed that the Leeds United winger is concerned that he will be ‘back in the same situation’ if Everton are to be relegated this season.
Gnonto shone for Leeds following his move from FC Zurich last summer, bagging two goals and four assists in the Premier League before he endured a spell on the bench.

The teenager is desperate to secure a move away from Elland Road this summer after they were relegated to the Championship, with Everton currently looking like his most likely destination.
While the Whites have insisted that Gnonto isn’t for sale, the Toffees have now made a fourth bid for his signature and the 19-year-old’s refusal to play may force their hand.
Despite Gnonto pushing a move to Goodison Park, the Italian could certainly turn his head if a better offer came up. Everton will need to up their bid if they are to land him before any other Premier League clubs begin sniffing around.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
However, Jones believes that Gnonto has already been touted to a few clubs in the top flight and the Italy international has been left concerned about Everton’s future.
Wilfried Gnonto could be having second thoughts about Everton
Speaking on the Fulhamish podcast, Jones said: “Fulham haven’t gone for Gnonto but I know it’s at least a consideration because he’s been to touted around to a few clubs.

“Gnonto has got Everton on the table as his most firm offer and he’s looking at that deal very open minded about it as he has to because he wants to leave Leeds and he isn’t on very good money there.
“His fear is that in a year’s time he is relegated anyway and he’s back in the same situation, so there’s that lingering doubt about where Everton are actually heading.”
