Everton look all set to sign Jack Grealish on loan after a big breakthrough on Monday, and there was also an interesting claim about Tyler Dibling.
Everton should soon announce Grealish, after a loan agreement was reached with Manchester City.
Jack Grealish has been doing his medical today, and potentially he could be announced as a new Toffees player tomorrow.
It is a statement signing from Everton, whose squad is now starting to take shape with the new Premier League season just days away now.
While all the Grealish talk has been going on, fans have been wondering about Tyler Dibling.
Everton have had three bids rejected for Dibling, with Southampton standing extremely firm over the talented youngster.
But an update arrived earlier today which has rather divided the fanbase.
Everton fans react as Tyler Dibling move now looks off

It was reported on Monday lunch time that Everton have now backed away from Dibling.
Giulia Bould reported on X: “Everton have moved on from Tyler Dibling after Southampton set a high price on the winger.
“The two clubs couldn’t agree on a fee for the 19-year-old last week.
“There has been no further contact and #EFC are now exploring other priorities.”
It remains to be seen if another club will come in for Dibling and pay the asking price, but for now it looks like Everton are out of the race – and fans are rather divided.
Some think the club are right to be backing away. While others simply cannot hide their disappointment.
@Stetansley: “Honestly a good thing 50 mill and sell-on clauses was silly. Plenty of other fast creative young goalscoring wide players out there.”
@Kieronw2004: “Smart move from Everton, disappointing not to get the player but we move on.”
@leo1878: “Relieved, he’s got top potential but that’s all it is. Fee too large to take that risk.”
@TheGoodisonMole: “Shame that one, the Dibling signing was an exciting one given how highly thought of he is.”
@Gary2Monty: “Gutted.”
@Callumefc: “This makes me sad.”

Dibling could yet force Southampton exit
The Dibling update from earlier today was a shame, because many Evertonians would love to see him on that right wing – a position that David Moyes is desperate to strengthen.
But at the moment Southampton’s stance has caused Everton to back away.
But perhaps this is not the end.
Dibling wants to leave and is currently not being selected by Will Still amid the speculation about his future.
Southampton’s desire to demand top dollar is admirable, but there could potentially come a point where Dibling cranks up the pressure on the club.

An official transfer request may not be out of the question, and there could be scope for the Saints to lower their asking price slightly in order to offload an unhappy player.
It just depends on whether that’s a course of action young Dibling would be willing to take.
