Toffees supporters tuned into England’s under-21 game this evening to get a glimpse of summer signing Tyler Dibling.
They took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to give their verdict on his display.
@RC021878 posted: “Still not sure he’s what we need but Dibling is playing really well for England young Grealish vibes.”
“Dibling has been fouled about 4 times in the first 10 minutes here. Now combine that with Grealish and Ndiaye… Imagine we had a good free-kick taker,” @EfcEnthusiast commented.
@BillEvram simply wrote: “Dibling is so good.”
@lukeWilko1878 said: “Been decent Dibling silky on the ball looking for the killer pass or linking up well, lost it a few times too…still seems in 2nd gear as well wouldn’t mind seeing him take it up a notch second half.”
Tyler Dibling stats vs Kazakhstan
Dibling’s Sofascore statistics evince what a well-rounded performance he produced, as he contributed going forward and defensively.
- 62 minutes

- 83% pass completion
- 1 assist
- 2 successful dribbles
- 9 duels won
- 3 tackles
Moyes will be especially pleased with his defensive numbers, as he won a whopping nine duels and made three tackles.
That’s perhaps the side of Dibling’s game the Scotsman is keen to improve before making him a regular starter.
So it was certainly an encouraging display from the 19-year-old.
