Jack Grealish was in attendance at the Hill Dickinson Stadium as his loan side Everton faced his parent club Manchester City.

Despite breaking his foot in January, the England international remains on loan at Everton and opted to hang about on Merseyside instead of return to the Etihad Stadium – partaking in community events as he focuses on his recovery too.

It remains to be seen what happens with Jack Grealish this summer, but Andy Hinchcliffe made an attempt to find out before Everton’s 3-3 draw against Manchester City.

Jack Grealish says he is “not sure” where he’ll be next season

The former Everton and Manchester City defender – working on commentary duty for Sky Sports on the night – revealed that he bumped into Grealish before the match, and asked about his injury as well as his future.

Hinchcliffe said (via BBC Sport): “I saw Jack Grealish before the game, he said he is getting fitter and fitter and will be ready for the start of next season.

“I asked him which club he would be playing for and he said he wasn’t sure.”

Several reports have stated that Grealish wants to continue playing for Everton beyond this season, while David Moyes is also keen to keep the 30-year-old around.

The main question mark appears to be how Everton will finance the deal.

Manchester City pay Grealish £300,000-a-week, and did value the attacking midfielder at £50m after agreeing that sum as an option for Everton to buy this summer.

Everton are highly unlikely to spend that much, but considering he will only have 12 months remaining on his Manchester City contract this summer, the Citizens are inclined to sell for a lower price, or risk losing the £100m man on a free transfer in 2027.

What should Everton be willing to pay to bring back Grealish over the summer? 💰
