Everton have outlined how long they want to keep Jordan Pickford for as talks are underway for his new contract.
As the Friedkin Group look to build on Everton’s future, Pickford is set to play a major role in this project.
The England international is now in his ninth season with the Blues as he plans to make more history with this next step.
Pickford is ‘key’ to the Friedkins’ plans at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and it’s the perfect decision for both parties.
With discussions going on behind the scenes, there will now be a debate about how long he stays on, and a new update has emerged.

Everton set to offer Jordan Pickford a contract for ‘at least two years’
The 31-year-old still has plenty of time left in his career, and that has brought murmurs that Pickford will end his career at Everton.
This hasn’t been relayed by talkSPORT however, as the outlet is only suggesting that the England international will sign on for at least another two years.
No offer has been made yet, but the Friedkins are ‘intent’ on making this happen, as it could eventually lead to Pickford hanging up his gloves on Merseyside after an excellent tenure.
He’s probably been the most consistent player in the squad for the last five years, saving the Toffees time and time again.
Pickford could overtake Seamus Coleman’s league appearance record, as it’s safe to say he will go down as an Everton legend.

Jordan Pickford has started Everton’s season strongly with the fifth-highest goals prevented
There is no one else who could take over Everton’s man between the sticks as Pickford has flourished in the role for almost ten years.
Mark Schwarzer admitted Pickford struggled at first, but he’s turned it round impeccably, and has taken his form into the season so far, saving the Toffees again.
| Player | Goals prevented |
| Guglielmo Vicario | 2.50 |
| James Trafford | 1.90 |
| Robin Roefs | 1.80 |
| Bernd Leno | 1.30 |
| Jordan Pickford | 0.90 |
With the Blues being a lot more attacking this year, Pickford is bound to face a lot more shots, and is dealing well with it thus far.
It’s a big season ahead, and Moyes wants Pickford to sign on, as the deal looks to be progressing nicely.
