Sean Dyche is about as distinguishable as it comes in terms of Premier League managers, and he’s finding that out at Everton.
Since Sean Dyche arrived at Everton last season, on the field things – mainly – have been vastly improved from before he arrived.
Dyche stepped into the Everton role after a spell on the sidelines as he left Burnley a month before their relegation to the Championship.
Managing a club like the Goodison Park outfit will have been a drastic change from Burnley as the pure size between the clubs is incomparable.
Now, Everton assistant manager Ian Woan has revealed that the difference in club size has been a shock to Dyche.

Ian Woan on what’s shocked Sean Dyche since Everton move
Speaking with The Athletic, Woan gave an interesting account of the issues Dyche particularly faces now as the Everton boss, outside of football.
“The problem you’ve got with the gaffer is you can’t hide him,” the Everton assistant joked.
“That’s the other thing from our last job: Everton fans are everywhere. It doesn’t matter what town or city.
“At Burnley, he never got bothered really, whereas Everton are global so, for instance, it’s difficult to show him the delights of Lark Lane. The apartment isn’t far from there, but if you’ve got a 6ft 2in ginger skinhead who talks like he talks, you can’t just put him in a corner and tell him to keep his head down.
“It’s probably taken the manager by surprise just how recognisable he is, even though he knew about the size of Everton.”
Dyche will be a success at Everton
This story is a very wholesome one from Woan as it showcases himself and Dyche as normal guys who want to visit some of the best parts Liverpool has to offer.
Dyche suits Everton perfectly as a person and a coach which makes it massively likely he finds success at the club.
He resonates with the club and the city so if he’s able to keep Everton in the Premier League this season and then build upon that with a midtable finish or better next year, he could soon find himself among the club’s recent icons.
Possibly even an eventual legend if he can restore stability and top-half finishes to the club.
