There is big news coming out of Everton today, with Jarrad Branthwaite signing a new contract – and there is now word on Idrissa Gueye and Michael Keane.
Jarrad Branthwaite has ended speculation about his future by signing fresh terms at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and he is now set to stay at the club until 2030.

It’s a major coup for Everton, with Branthwaite on the radars of top clubs around the world.
The likes of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur had both been expressing interest in Branthwaite, and Manchester United have also been strongly linked for a long time.
But he’ll now be staying, and Everton fans are now wondering if a couple more could be following suit by committing their futures.
Everton fans set for more good news after Branthwaite with Idrissa Gueye and Michael Keane new contracts close

Key to Everton having a productive summer will be keeping hold of influential players.
The new contract for Branthwaite is a big statement, and wonderful news for the team.
Fans are still waiting for decisions to be made over Idrissa Gana Gueye and Michael Keane, who are technically now free agents.
Everton have been in talks with both players, and Patrick Boyland of The Athletic has now shared an update on the pair after today’s big news about Branthwaite.
He writes: “Everton are also close to extending the contracts of Michael Keane and Idrissa Gueye, whose terms expired at the end of June, and are in the final stages of securing a deal for Villarreal forward Thierno Barry for an initial fee of around €32m.
Everton transfer window springs into life
It’s been a bit of a frustrating summer so far at Everton, but pieces will now start to move.
Branthwaite is not a new signing, but news of his contract is huge for the club, and David Moyes can stop fearing losing him now.
It sounds as though the Gueye and Keane contracts are imminent, which is a double boost. Keeping Gueye is especially important given how influential he still is.
And it sounds like, after weeks of reports, Thierno Barry will secure a transfer to Everton, which is exciting.
Everton just lost Dominic Calvert-Lewin, so the signing of a new striker is paramount – and Moyes will likely go after another.
Hopefully, now, there will be an influx of new faces at Everton.
