Everton were handed back four points from the Premier League on Monday, a verdict that lifts Sean Dyche’s men to 15th.
However, the Toffees aren’t entirely out of the firing line, with another charge looming.
Everton and Nottingham Forest face another PSR charge in relation to their losses during last year’s assessment period.
The Premier League are set to announce their verdict in the middle of April. There is also a genuine possibility that the Premier League season could be decided after the final ball has been kicked.
Regarding the upcoming punishment, football finance expert Kieran Maguire claimed the Toffees could face a reduced deduction.
Talking live on talkSPORT, he said: “I am not a lawyer, but you could say with a reasonable degree of confidence that if Everton are going to be assessed over a second three-year period, and two of those overlap, then whatever the second commission makes judgement should be reduced by two-thirds.”

In his most recent press conference, Frank has described what he thinks should happen to the two clubs moving forward.
“It seems likely that Nottingham Forest and Everton will get a points deduction,” he said (quoted by The Liverpool Echo).
“They will appeal that, but what is important is that we need to know what that is before the end of the season.
“For me, it’s very simple—you break the rules and you face a sanction. End of discussion. That’s the society we live in and the football world we live in.
“The Premier League need to find out when they can announce the points deductions before they are appealed. We then need that answer before the end of the season.”
A decision is needed before the end of the Premier League season. At present, any appeal would need to be ratified by the AGM. The current meeting is scheduled to occur five days after the end of the season.
Considering the livelihoods at stake, being flexible regarding dates seems the smartest move for all.
The Premier League’s reputation will hit an all-time low if a club is relegated due to a position change after the last game of the season.
