Jack Grealish has been thriving on Merseyside since he made the loan move over the summer to Everton.
The 30-year-old found himself at a real crossroads in his career, with Everton desperate to bring him in and get him playing regularly again.
David Moyes was crucial to the Toffees being able to land Grealish on loan for the season.
Everton’s 62-year-old boss has really taken Grealish under his wing and helped him to get back to some of his best form.
Make no mistake, though, Moyes wants more goals from Grealish, who netted his second of the season on Tuesday against Bournemouth.
But it has been a positive start to the campaign for the Man City loanee and he’s loving life under Moyes after leaving Pep Guardiola behind.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Grealish has now shared just what Moyes is doing for him that he wasn’t necessarily getting from Guardiola.

“Tactically, I don’t have a favourite manager,” said Grealish.
“I don’t mind what type of football I’m asked to play – against Man United I felt more like a defender. This manager trusts and believes in me and what I can bring on the pitch. That’s what’s important to me.”
“This manager does want to play good football.”
On Friday, Moyes admitted he doesn’t sugarcoat feedback to Grealish, with the 30-year-old asking for his manager to give it to him straight.
After a 2024/25 campaign with numerous loan deals not working, Everton have really hit gold in landing the Manchester City outcast.

Man City’s Erling Haaland has been closely watching Grealish for Everton and even celebrated his recent success on Merseyside.
Ultimately, Grealish will have his eye on returning to the England national side ahead of next summer’s World Cup.
However, it is difficult to imagine how he could return to City having now tasted regular action in the Premier League again.
