Everton loanee Jack Harrison is convinced that he will fit in well at Goodison Park.

Jack Harrison joined Everton on a season-long loan deal from Leeds United in the recent summer transfer window.

Having arrived at the Merseyside club with an injury, Harrison has broken into Sean Dyche’s side in recent weeks. In Saturday’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth, Harrison opened his account for Everton with a spectacular long-range effort.

The winger is now keen to kick on and make himself a star for the Toffees. He certainly believes that he is at a club where his own qualities and attributes will be of significant value.

Speaking to the official Everton website, Harrison said, “you see how much it means to the fans when you’re working hard and for me, I’ve always said that’s the least you can do.”

“I always try to replicate that. It’s an honour to be out there and to leave everything out there…It’s nice that the Everton fans pick up on that.”

“It’s something I like to bring to the team – a lot of positivity and a lot of energy…I never like to be settled with just satisfactory. To build a winner’s mentality is a characteristic that you need and if I can bring this to the team and help a few others to push each other to the limit and to the next level, then that’s ultimately what it’s about.”

Harrison ready to push himself and others

Harrison certainly has the capacity to be a star for Everton this season. He has shown before that he has what it takes to shine at Premier League level. Across three campaigns in the top flight with Leeds United, the 26-year-old bagged 21 goals and racked up 16 assists.

He is a hard-working player, who will chip in defensively, and can contribute in the final third. Dyche will certainly admire Harrison’s work rate and will be hoping that he can provide the kind of regular service into the box that the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Beto can thrive on.

Given he also has plenty of Premier League experience, he will also be an important figure in the dressing room. Clearly, he has a desire to help his teammates improve their mental approach to the game. Dyche will be backing Harrison to be successful in this endeavour.

The most important thing, though, is that Harrison consistently impresses when on the pitch himself. In that regard, he has made a bright start to his time at Everton.
