Everton defender James Tarkowski has posted a six-word reaction following the departure of his teammate Conor Coady.
Coady spent last season on loan at Everton from Wolves, but the Blues have decided against taking the defender on a permanent deal this summer.
Indeed, a pre-agreed fee of just £4.5m was in place for Coady to make the switch to Goodison Park a permanent one, however he has now returned to Molyneux.
Taking to social media, Coady’s former defensive teammate James Tarkowski has now shared his reaction to Coady’s departure.
Resharing Conor Coady’s goodbye post to Everton fans, Tarkowski’s Instagram story had the caption: “Some fella. Teqball champs 4 life.”

Tarkowski Coady partnership will be missed at Everton
The centre-back pairing initially formed a strong partnership earlier in the season, with Coady’s loan deal coinciding with Tarkowki’s switch from Burnley on a free transfer last summer.

Indeed, the pair also seemed to have a good off the field relationship and mutual respect regarding their previous encounters as opponents.
Speaking with the official Everton website back in February, Coady said of Tarkowski: “I love him. He’s class – one of my best mates. I knew about Tarky before I came to the club.

I’ve played against him loads of times before and I knew how much of a top player he is. I’ve had good battles against him in the past.”
However, following the sacking of manager Frank Lampard, Coady’s game time became increasingly limited, playing in just six out of the 18 games following Sean Dyche’s appointment.
It is then perhaps of little surprise that the Blues did not make Coady’s loan deal permanent, as Sean Dyche clearly has other plans for his defence, but for what is such a small asking price in football these days, the England international could have been a very shrewd signing.
