Everton are in for Jarrod Bowen, and a fresh update about the club’s pursuit could point to the most exciting deal under The Friedkin Group to date being completed soon.
After the disappointment of finishing 13th, Everton are looking to respond this summer.
Wide players are a priority, given the uncertainty currently surrounding the likes of Tyrique George, Jack Grealish and Dwight McNeil.
Are there any players from the relegated clubs you want to see Everton go after this summer? 🤔
Wolves, Burnley and West Ham have all lost their Premier League status…
Jarrod Bowen was quickly linked with Everton following West Ham United’s relegation from the Premier League.
Plenty of other clubs are keen, but there has been a hugely positive update this morning.
Jarrod Bowen to Everton would be a serious statement, as winger tells David Moyes he wants move
TEAMtalk have reported that Bowen has actually made it clear to David Moyes that he would ‘seriously consider’ a move to Everton if the Toffees made an approach.
The article suggests that the relationship between Bowen and Moyes could be crucial to a deal coming to fruition.

It’s stated Moyes would welcome the opportunity to work with Bowen again.
In light of this information, Moyes, the recruitment people and The Friedkin Group must now strive to sign the West Ham captain to complete the most exciting deal of the new owners’ tenure to date.
Quite simply, big efforts need to be made, to sign a player who has consistently been one of the best wingers in the Premier League for the last five seasons.
Perhaps being at West Ham has not brought him the true credit he has deserved. But the numbers make for seriously impressive reading.
Bowen has hit 85 goals and made 63 assists in 280 West Ham appearances – with 65 and 54 coming in the Premier League.
Bowen had six-and-a-half seasons in the Premier League with West Ham, and in five of those seasons he made at least 10 goal contributions.
And while most of his good work has come as a right winger, we’ve also seen Bowen lead the line for West Ham on occasion, and that versatility would be very useful for Everton.
But ultimately, it’s about adding output into that front line, which has lacked goals in recent times.
Iliman Ndiaye doesn’t score enough for how good he is technically, and Thierno Barry and Beto have both been criticised for not being clinical enough.

Bowen, who is also obviously a leader having captained the Hammers, has proven he makes things happen in the final third.
This update suggests there is a genuine chance to get him, in what would be an even more exciting and high-profile signing than Jack Grealish last year.
After a disappointing last few months, this would genuinely get a lot of those doubtful fans believing again and be a big win for the owners.
