Thierno Barry is beginning to show why Everton paid £27m to sign him from Villarreal back in July.
The Frenchman endured a tough start to life at the Hill Dickinson Stadium – scoring just one goal in his first 18 Premier League appearances.
However, the Everton No.11 has bagged four goals in his last five matches in the Premier League, with his latest effort securing a 1-1 draw against Leeds.
Jermaine Beckford has now spoken about Thierno Barry after that game on Monday night, telling BBC Radio 5 Live what frustrates him about the 23-year-old.

Jermaine Beckford wants Thierno Barry to move more
The France U21 international made an excellent run to get across Sebastiaan Bornauw and poke a cross from Idrissa Gueye beyond Karl Darlow on Monday.
However, Beckford feels Barry does not make that particular movement enough, and believes it has cost the Everton frontman at least five goals this season.
The man who scored ten goals in 40 appearances for the Toffees said: “He is getting into some decent form, but if you watch his movement in all the games he is playing, he should easily be on double (his tally of five goals). He didn’t look a threat in front of goal. I know he scored his goal, but he doesn’t do that movement enough.
“He still has time and if he is willing to listen to the boss and the players around him, then he will be something special, but I want more!”
David Moyes has already sent Thierno Barry a similar message at Everton
The man born in Lyon clearly possesses a lot of potential, as many associated with Everton are pushing him to step up and improve.
Not only has Beckford asked for “more” from the Everton frontman, but David Moyes also told Barry he needs “more” from him when asked to comment on his run of three goals in four games before the visit of Leeds.
The Glaswegian told Sky Sports: “I have to say, I need him to score more. You’re young, you’re relatively inexperienced at this level, but that goes right out the window.”
Would signing a new striker ruin Barry’s development?
Hopefully, Barry takes that as a compliment and understands those around him feel he can do even better, rather than a way to disregard his undoubted improvement in recent weeks.
