Everton have not won since they beat Chelsea in March… 🫣
“I think we’ve been a bit hard done by the fixtures, when the timings, I think, Evertonians, you know, they live for the games on the weekend, and they make the whole weekend about enjoying it, a Saturday going for a pint before the games, and when we win, it’s their weekends made, and I think fixtures change just to Sundays, Mondays.
“We’ve only had two or three Saturdays at three o’clock, so I think that’s been a difficult drive in itself, but when the atmosphere is going, I think the Chelsea one at home was Saturday at half five, that you know, that reminds me of Goodison.”
Everton have had more Monday night games than any other side in the Premier League this season.

Securing European qualification could help Everton to secure more consistency in how their games are scheduled by the television companies.
Playing in Europa League or Europa Conference League would mean a lot of Friday, Saturday and Monday slots would be ruled out.
