Jordan Pickford has shared exactly how David Moyes is pushing Everton towards European qualification.
Only seven games remain in the Premier League season for Everton, who have a great opportunity to get back into Europe.
There would not be many more deserving of the opportunity to play in Europe than Pickford, following his years of excellent service on Merseyside.
Give us your gut feeling… will Everton make it into Europe? 🌍
Moyes has transformed the Toffees since his return and Pickford has admitted the 62-year-old has the players only focused on the next game.

Jordan Pickford shares David Moyes’ European target for Everton
Moyes has targeted European qualification for Everton from the very start of the season.
With only a matter of weeks remaining in the season, the Toffees sit in eighth place and just three points off fifth-placed Liverpool.
Seven games left and on 46 points – how many points do you expect Everton to finish on? 🤔
“Yeah, seven games. I think the manager will be striving for game by game now,” Pickford told Hayters.
“We’re not going to look at Tottenham away on the last game of season, we’ll be focusing on Brentford away next week. And that’s what the manager will do. We’ll take game by game and hopefully we’ll get the Toffees in Europe.”
Next up for Everton is a massive game against Brentford, who sit above them, only on goal difference, in seventh place.
Everton could qualify for Europe by finishing as low as 11th, but that would be highly unlikely given how unrealistic that specific scenario would be.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 6 | 31 | 13 | 9 | 9 | 53 | 38 | 15 | 48 | |
| 7 | 31 | 13 | 7 | 11 | 46 | 42 | 4 | 46 | |
| 8 | 31 | 13 | 7 | 11 | 37 | 35 | 2 | 46 | |
| 9 | 31 | 13 | 5 | 13 | 43 | 44 | -1 | 44 | |
| 10 | 31 | 11 | 10 | 10 | 41 | 37 | 4 | 43 |
Coming back from the international break with three points would be a huge marker for the Blues in beating one of their direct European rivals.
Only Arsenal have a better record on the road this season, which Everton will have to rely on having lost 4-2 to Brentford earlier in the season.
With some difficult games ahead of them, Everton cannot afford to look too far ahead.
