Demarai Gray is now set to stay at Everton beyond transfer deadline day.
That’s according to Alan Myers, who has claimed that the winger ‘won’t go tonight’ after being heavily linked with a move away from Goodison Park.
Gray has been one of the Toffees’ few attacking threats since his £1.7 million move from Bayer Leverkusen in 2021, however his time at the club looked to be up this summer.

The forward had attracted interest from the likes of Crystal Palace, Fulham and Al Shabab, while Lille became the latest club to make a loan bid for his signature today.
Gray hasn’t made an appearance for Everton this season and looked guaranteed to bag a move away from Merseyside, with Fulham looking a very likely destination at one point.
However, the 27-year-old is yet to seal his exit and is rapidly closing in on the 11pm deadline.

Will Demarai Gray still leave Everton?
With Myers confirming that Gray will stay at Everton beyond 11pm, it suggests that he will now join Al Shabab.
The Saudi Arabian club already reached a verbal agreement to sign Gray last month and it was said to be down to the attacker as to whether he would complete a move.

With the Saudi Pro League’s transfer window open for another week, Gray will have to agree to move to the Middle East if he is to finally leave the Toffees.
Meanwhile, Myers has suggested that Gray could be reintegrated into Everton’s squad if he fails to leave the club.
Sean Dyche’s side will take on Sheffield United tomorrow, but it seems too early for Gray to return to action if he is still looking to secure his exit over the next week.
However, the former Leicester City forward could potentially compete with Jack Harrison for his place on the left if he ends up staying on Merseyside.
