Everton have another injury concern ahead of their Premier League opener next weekend.
That’s according to journalist El Bobble, who has reported that Arnaut Danjuma was absent from training on Friday after picking up a minor knock.
The Toffees’ medical team decided to leave the Dutchman out of the first team training sessions as a precaution ahead of the clash with Fulham next week.
Danjuma made his first start for Everton as they beat Stoke City in their most recent pre-season friendly, though he could miss out on today’s meeting with Sporting Lisbon.

The 26-year-old will be monitored over the next week but could be available to make his competitive debut against the Cottagers.
Meanwhile, Dwight McNeil remains sidelined and hasn’t been in training since he picked up an injury against Stoke.

El Bobble previously reported that the winger was undergoing assessments and there were fears that his issue was worse than originally expected.
Sean Dyche’s side are lacking in depth ahead of today’s friendly against the Portuguese club, though Dominic Calvert-Lewin could feature after making his comeback in Everton’s behind-closed-doors clash with Monza.
Dwight McNeil’s injury is a huge blow to Everton
Arnaut Danjuma’s injury doesn’t look like much to be concerned about, with the forward likely to return to training next week.

However, Dwight McNeil could well be out of next weekend’s match at Goodison Park. The 23-year-old was one of Everton’s star players under Dyche last season and would have made a huge impact against Fulham.
Danjuma could potentially take McNeil’s place in the starting line-up, while they will also face the Cottagers without Demarai Gray. In fact, he could be playing for the other side if the move is completed next week.
