Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has become one of Everton’s most important players since joining from Chelsea in the summer.
Dewsbury-Hall was absolutely immense against Bournemouth on Tuesday evening, and many Everton fans picked him as the Man of the Match.
Has Dewsbury-Hall just become Everton’s most important player? 🤔
The Friedkin Group are really pleased with Dewsbury-Hall, and it’s looking like the £28m they spent on him was an absolute bargain.
The Everton star has been speaking to the club’s media about how he feels switching from the number 10 role to a deeper midfield position.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall happy David Moyes has changed his position at Everton
Speaking to Everton’s website, Dewsbury-Hall has admitted he’s much happier playing as a number eight and is glad Moyes has tweaked his position.
“Yeah, it felt good,” the 27-year-old said after the Bournemouth win.
“I think my more natural position is probably an eight, box-to-box, but like I’ve always said, I’ll play anywhere the manager wants me.
His versatility is SO important! Where do you think his best position is? 👏
“It just happened today that I had to drop a bit deeper. I think the fans can see what I can bring to the game from that sort of area. I like to drive forward with the ball when I can, try and get on it, try and just help the team as much as I can in and out of possession.
“I’m glad that I managed to play well. I’m a bit tired now. Legs are a bit heavy, but hey, it’s all worth it when you get moments like that!”
Wayne Rooney has been really impressed by Dewsbury-Hall’s performances lately, so clearly he’s turned a corner from the slightly difficult period he endured earlier in the season.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall thinks Everton can genuinely beat anyone
Dewsbury-Hall also added that he genuinely believes this Everton team can beat anyone on their day, and he reckons the Premier League is wide open to really kick on up the table.
“We’ve shown when we’re at our best, we can beat anyone,” the former Chelsea midfielder said.
“It’s just trying to find that consistency now. Look, we’re in the toughest league in the world. You’re going to get times and you’re going to get moments where it’s tough and maybe where things don’t go right, but it’s about how you react to that.
Struggling to think of anyone who deserves it more than KDH…🤔
“It’s about the mentality of the group. And I think you’ve seen tonight, we had a setback at the weekend, but we’ve reacted to that in a great way and got another clean sheet away from home, another win.
“Now it’s about trying to put a run of wins together, which would be nice because the league this year is fascinating and it feels like anyone can do anything.”
Roy Keane reckons Everton will draw with Nottingham Forest this weekend, but if they were to pick up another win, they’d probably sneak into a European spot.
So there’s plenty riding on this busy festive period for Moyes’ side.
