With survival assured, at last Everton fans can enjoy an end to a season free of the relegation pressure that has haunted them for the last two years.
During the 2021/22 campaign, only a dramatic second-half comeback against Crystal Palace secured their survival in the penultimate game of that term.
And then, just last season saw them take it to the final day, beating AFC Bournemouth 1-0 to narrowly escape the drop ahead of Leicester City and Leeds United.
But this time there will be no such battle, with Luton Town and Nottingham Forest instead set to scrap it out with two games to play.
So, with excitement on the pitch sure to increase, in turn, the already hotly-anticipated Bramley-Moore Dock stadium should command more acclaim too.
Rail seating seemingly being installed at Everton stadium
The regular drone updates which are often posted only serve to intensify excitement, with fans able to clearly document the stark progression made with each passing week.
And this latest one, filmed by Mister Drone UK, has actually helped reveal a key fan feature which is now being installed.
We had been told late last month that all the pieces had arrived for the rail seating to be fitted, but were yet to see any progress.
But when delving through this new drone flyover, particularly in the lower tier of the south stand, it is clear that the fittings are being installed in preparation to implement this feature into the stadium.
Safe standing is a key component of this new era for Everton, and will hopefully promote a far greater atmosphere akin to an away day.
What is the capacity of Everton’s new stadium?
The capacity of the new stadium is one of the outstanding reasons for departing Goodison Park, as the huge increase in visitors is set to offer the club a much-needed financial boost to hopefully help their progression.
With The Old Lady housing just 39,414, this is set for a marked improvement to 52,888.
And with this rail seating being installed, we know that a large portion of that will actually not be adorned with traditional seating.
Everton will become the latest to welcome safe standing to their ground when they move in, and will join a Premier League list that already consists of Brentford, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham and Wolves.
Packing as many fans into this state-of-the-art new stadium will not only help roar on the home side to famous victories, but hopefully provide the club with the financial freedom needed to actually progress.
