Leon Osman was not too pleased with Tim Iroegbunam as Everton suffered defeat against Brentford at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Despite starting the game strongly, the hosts failed to capitalise on their chances, which led to Brentford winning 4-2 on Sunday evening.
Igor Thiago scored a hat-trick for the Bees and Nathan Collins also found the back of the net, while Beto and Thierno Barry added two to the home side’s tally.
This was a dismal performance from Everton…

Tim Iroegbunam effort on goal annoys Leon Osman
In the first half of the game, Iroegbunam found himself in a decent position to test Caoimhin Kelleher in the Brentford goal.
The midfielder did brilliantly to capitalise on a loose ball in the attacking third, which set up a decent opportunity for the Toffees.
However, instead of firing a shot on target or playing a through pass to one of his teammates around him, he made a mess of it.
Iroegbunam had a dismal game against Brentford…😠
What did you make of his performance?
While he carried the ball well into the box, he completely miscued his shot, much to the annoyance of Osman.
The former Everton midfielder was in the gantry as he covered the game for Premier League Productions.
He said: “That’s a poor finish. From this moment [after he won the ball], he should do better.”

What do the underlying stats mean for Everton?
Conceding four goals at home is always shameful, but the underlying stats do not make for good reading for David Moyes and the Toffees.
Everton did not have the lion’s share of possession as they got outplayed by Keith Andrews’ side on Merseyside.
Brentford ended the match with 55 per cent possession, which is not something Moyes would be too thrilled about.
Even in terms of the xG, the hosts managed just 0.85 while the visitors were miles ahead with 2.4.
Despite having more shots than the Bees, Everton had just one big chance in comparison to Brentford’s six.
These stats clearly show that the Blues need to make more of their home advantage and beat the teams around them.
Moyes’ targets are to finish in the European places, but with performances like these, they may have to settle for mid-table mediocrity.
