Man City fans all saying the same thing about Everton winger Jack Grealish after Brighton defeat

Manchester City fans are all in total agreement about Everton talisman Jack Grealish after their 2-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Jack Grealish left Manchester City for Everton on a season-long loan deal earlier this month, and he’s started exceptionally well.

Grealish registered another two assists on the weekend, as he helped David Moyes’ side to a 3-2 win at Molineux.

That’s now four assists in two Premier League starts for the 29-year-old, and quite remarkably, the Toffees are actually above his parent club Man City in the league table.

City fans are furious after consecutive league defeats this afternoon and have flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their concerns about Pep Guardiola on the decision to offload Grealish.

Manchester City fans in total agreement about Everton star Jack Grealish

Man City lost to Tottenham Hotspur last week, and they were second best against Brighton today, as they suffered a 2-1 defeat.

The City fan base are now all questioning Guardiola for allowing Grealish to leave whilst his current wingers are underperforming.

“Pep’s first fireable offence should be picking Doku over Grealish,” @the_richual posted.

@ManCityUSAfans added: “We could use a Jack Grealish with 4 assists/ right about now.”

@Zinchenkoburner explained: “I know this is not the time, but Grealish is such a better fit for this team than any current winger.”

“Jack Grealish has more G/A in 2 games than our wingers combined in 3 games. Hope you lot are happy,” @DareToGoater said.

@trebletime23 commented: “Grealish currently walks into this side…..”

“Get that Grealish guy from Everton. He’s already on 4 assists this season,” @0161Darren noted.

Everton will already be looking to make Jack Grealish’s loan permanent

Quite clearly, Grealish and Everton just fit perfectly together.

Moyes is allowing Grealish to be the maverick, and the 39-cap England international is certainly repaying him.

Already, supporters are keen to land his signature on a permanent deal, and the Toffees do have an option to buy.

It’s believed to be around the £50m mark, which is a hefty fee for a player who turns 30 in a couple of weeks.

Everton chiefs are likely to negotiate that price down, perhaps closer to the £40m, which would be a fair deal for both parties.

It could even be something that gets done once the January window opens.
