Before signing for Everton, Tyler Dibling’s father admitted Tottenham Hotspur showed interest in landing his son.
Everton landed the 19-year-old following a sudden climb down in negotiations from Southampton.
Speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, Lineker and Richards admitted they’re both excited about the youngster’s potential.
“I want to pick out Everton signing Tyler Dibling. I like it,” said Lineker.
Reacting to Lineker’s pick for one of the better signings this summer, Richards said: “Yes! It’s starting to look good, isn’t it.”
“He’s got a real talent, £40m, I think you go Dibling, Grealish and Ndiaye. I think I quite like the sound of that,” Lineker added.
Dibling has been called up to England’s U21 side this week, with the youngster surely setting his sights on a potential debut for the senior side in the coming years.
He is yet to make his full Everton debut, but Moyes now has the luxury of having other quality players at his disposal. So, Dibling can be slowly integrated into the XI.

Both quality and quantity needed bolstering, and that is exactly what Everton have done.
Moyes was delighted with the signings of Dibling and Grealish, with real quality added to Everton’s attacking line.
Speaking after the 19-year-old landed on Merseyside, Moyes shared that excitement for what the winger could bring over the coming years.
“We are really pleased to bring Tyler to Everton Football Club. He is a talented young English player with lots of potential,” he said.
“Tyler adds to our attacking options and we will support him in his future development”
