Neville Southall shares Everton ticket price message to Friedkins
The Everton legend has never shied away from making his feelings known, and this is a topic that fans feel strongly about.
Taking to social media, Southall shared images of the banners on display at the weekend from fans saying ‘Enough is Enough’ in protest to both clubs raising ticket prices.

“Sometimes a club has to understand the local fans not just corporate ones,” Southall said on X.
“Both clubs should listen to the local fans.”
The Everton Fan Advisory Board have already complained about ticket prices, but the club did not pay any attention and instead raised the prices.
At a time when just about everyone in the country is suffering from the dramatic increases in daily costs of living, the decision to raise ticket prices feels unnecessary.
Of course, clubs will also be affected by those cost increases, but Everton have just made £2.9m from selling personalised stones to be displayed outside of the new stadium.
The Hill Dickinson has already become a huge money-maker for Everton, yet it is the fans who are being made to stump up and cover the club’s costs.
