David Moyes was up against his former club, who had Nuno Espirito Santo in the opposite dugout after Graham Potter’s sacking.
Everton opened the scoring through Michael Keane, as he headed home a wicked James Garner cross in the 18th minute.
Keane and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall were really impressive, but there was one other player who really stood out to neutrals watching.

Grealish was constantly driving forward and winning fouls against the Hammers, who struggled to contain him.
The 39-cap England international has actually won the most fouls in the Premier League this season with 22.
That’s five more than second-placed Partrick Dorgu (17), so it puts into perspective just how good his dribbling ability is.
Grealish is on Thomas Tuchel’s radar ahead of the World Cup next year, and performances like that will certainly help his case to get back into the England squad.
