Steven Alzate is set to join Standard Liege.
That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who has claimed the former Everton target could still earn a move away from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Alzate joined Brighton from Leyton Orient in 2017 and became a cult hero when he scored the only goal in the Seagulls’ first win at Anfield in Premier League history two and a half years ago.
After netting three goals and providing five assists while on loan with Standard Liege last season, the midfielder looked set to secure another loan exit this summer.
Everton were considering a move for Steven Alzate last week
Pipe Sierra reported that Everton were eager to snap Alzate up ahead of last week’s deadline day, while Wolves were also interested in his signature.
The Colombia international was set to leave the club imminently after falling down the pecking order and it was thought that the Toffees could bring him to Goodison Park in the final hours of the window.

However, Everton opted against the loan signing and he could now instead return to Belgium.
While he was recently linked with a move to Club Brugge, he could now instead return to Standard Liege after a successful loan stint.
Alzate was expected to fly to Belgium today to compete a six-month loan, though there is a race against time as the Belgian Pro League’s transfer window slams shut tonight.
The 24-year-old’s entourage are confident they can get a deal done in time, while Alzate will want to avoid staying without game time in the top flight for a further four months.
