Youssef Chermiti is scheduled to have his medical at Everton later this week.
That’s according to Sky Sports, who have reported that the Sporting Lisbon forward will join the Toffees before the two sides meet for their pre-season friendly on Saturday afternoon.
Chermiti only made his senior debut for Sporting earlier this year but already has three goals and two assists in only 16 appearances in the Primeira Liga.

Everton were reported to be closing in on a deal for the 19-year-old this morning and it looks like the move is very advanced as he prepares to undergo his medical tests at Finch Farm.
Sky Sports have claimed that Chermiti will join in a deal worth £15 million, with Everton paying £12m plus £3m in add-ons.
The teenager could be set to make his debut for the Toffees against his former side this weekend if Sean Dyche is prepared to throw him straight in.

Chermiti will be Everton’s third signing of the summer following on from the arrivals of Ashley Young and Arnaut Danjuma.

The Portugal youth international will provide the Merseyside club with another option up top this season and they could massively benefit from his 6 ft 4 stature.
Chermiti will challenge Dominic Calvert-Lewin for a place in the starting line-up, while he could be considered for his first start against Fulham if DCL isn’t fit next week.
Chermiti’s arrival may also allow Tom Cannon to be sent out on loan, with the striker attracting interest from the likes of Sunderland, Preston North End and Stoke City.
