Tom Cannon will make a final decision on where he will spent the upcoming season.
According to Alan Nixon, the Everton striker is set to decide which club he will join on loan in the next week – while he could also still remain at Goodison Park.
After netting eight goals for Preston North End during the second half of the previous campaign, Cannon has been heavily linked with a second loan spell this summer.

While it was previously suggested he could be handed a chance in the first team following Ellis Simms’ move to Coventry City, reports have now claimed Everton could be willing to loan him out of they receive a £1 million loan fee.
The likes of Sunderland and Stoke City have been targeting a deal for the ‘incredible’ 21-year-old, though it is now looking like Preston are in pole position to bring Cannon back to Deepdale.
Cannon and the Toffees will make their final decision in the coming days, while Sean Dyche’s side may be willing to let him leave once Youssef Chermiti’s arrival is confirmed.
