Arnaut Danjuma is open to joining Everton this summer.

TalkSPORT have reported that the Dutchman would be ‘willing’ to move to Goodison Park on loan after previously rejecting them for Tottenham Hotspur in January.

Danjuma was all set to join the Toffees six months ago and had even been introduced to his ‘new’ teammates before performing a shock U-turn and instead signed for Spurs.

However, the forward spent most of his time in North London on the bench, making only one start and scoring one goal in the Premier League.

Danjuma returned to Villarreal at the end of the season but the Spanish club are said to be keen on sending him back out on loan – two years after they paid Bournemouth £21.3 million for his services.

The 26-year-old is clearly a fan of the Premier League as he looks to return for his third spell, while the Daily Mail have also claimed that Crystal Palace are interested.

Arnaut Danjuma could make up an exciting summer of attacking signings for Everton

Despite Arnaut Danjuma’s ‘betrayal’ during the January transfer window, the Netherlands international could be one of three very exciting signings for Everton’s attack.

Danjuma joins Wilfried Gnonto and Anthony Elanga very high up on the Toffees’ shortlist, with Sky Sports journalist Alan Myers already reporting that Everton will look to sign all three.

The trio could cost Everton less than £30 million all together, with Manchester United reportedly halving Elanga’s price tag to £10m, while previous reports claimed the Toffees had agreed a £18.8 million fee for Gnonto.

Gnonto and Elanga both have a huge future in football and have showed glimmers of promise recently, while both just need a long run in the team and decent coaching to show exactly what they are worth.

While a little older, Danjuma could prove to be a very useful addition and also a very cheap one if Villarreal are willing to send him back out on loan.
