Everton are in talks with Trevoh Chalobah.
That’s according to TEAMtalk, who have reported that Chelsea have told the defender he can leave this summer and has since attracted interest from a number of clubs.
Chalobah has made 45 appearances in the Premier League since making his senior debut two years ago, however he has found himself falling down the pecking order and doesn’t look to be in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.
Despite Wesley Fofana picking up a serious injury, the Argentine has now brought in Monaco’s Axel Disasi to replace him and has also tied Levi Colwill down to a new contract.

With Chalobah’s game time now looking limited, the Blues are willing to offload him and Everton are one of many sides interested in snapping him up.
The report claims that West Ham and Crystal Palace are also keen to sign Chalobah, however he is open to moving abroad. Monaco, Lyon, Wolfsburg, Borussia Dortmund, Roma and Napoli are among those targeting the ‘fantastic’ 24-year-old.
While Chelsea could consider a loan deal with an option to buy, the Evening Standard recently claimed that they could demand up to £45 million for Chalobah.

The Trevoh Chalobah pursuit won’t stretch further than just interest for Everton
Everton’s interest in Trevoh Chalobah seems very ambitious given their competition and his hefty price tag.
The Toffees certainly couldn’t afford to cough up that much cash, especially when the versatile defender has done far from enough to merit a £45m valuation.

Everton would have to offload a number of players to fund a move for Chalobah, with the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana being linked with big money moves away in recent weeks.
While the high demand for his signature will also drive up his price, Everton would do very well to compete with such clubs in the first place.
The likes of Borussia Dortmund and Napoli could offer Chalobah a chance at Champions League football, while West Ham are also in Europe. Even Crystal Palace may benefit from being located only nine miles from Stamford Bridge.
