Everton have told Jordan Pickford he can leave the club this summer.
That’s according to Football Transfers, who have reported that the Toffees could look to offload the goalkeeper and a number of other important players in order to fund their buying.
Pickford moved to Goodison Park in a deal up to £30 million in 2017 and has been a huge star at the club ever since, however he could now be set for the chopping block in a mass exodus on Merseyside.

The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away this summer, with Manchester United previously said to be targeting the ‘keeper ahead of David de Gea’s departure.
However, Everton were eager to keep hold of their prized asset and the Red Devils turned their attention elsewhere.
Pickford reportedly joins Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Alex Iwobi among some of the players that Everton could part ways with in the coming months.

The England international still has four years remaining on his current deal after putting pen to paper less than five months ago, while Chelsea could be put on high alert as they search for a replacement for Edouard Mendy.
Everton will come under deserved criticism if they sell Jordan Pickford this summer
It seemed unlikely that Jordan Pickford would actually stay for the four-and-a-half years that he agreed to back in February, however for Everton to actively look to offload him less than six months later is crazy.

The Toffees seems so desperate to keep hold of him when Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur were sniffing around but are now considering cashing in on one of few sellable assets.
There is a clear need to sell to buy at Goodison Park this summer, however to sell such an important player to only bring in someone worse could be a huge mistake.
Everton could have been well on their way to the Championship over the past couple of seasons if it wasn’t for some of Pickford’s heroics and it seems they would only be taking a backwards step if they are without him.
