Swansea City have offered Everton the chance to sign Joel Piroe in a deal that would see Ellis Simms go the other way.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who have reported that the Championship club are willing to part ways with their star striker as they are very keen on Simms.
After netting 41 goals in the Championship over the last two seasons, Piroe has attracted huge interest this summer as he enters the final year of his contract.

Swansea have accepted that they are highly likely to lose Piroe and will look to take advantage of Everton’s interest by including him in a deal for Simms.
The Times have reported that the Toffees are looking for between £7-10 million for the 22-year-old, who scored seven goals for Sunderland in the first half of last season.
The forward was spotted outside the Swans’ stadium last week as the two clubs continue talks over a move.

Simms is also a target for Sunderland, Coventry City, Ipswich Town and a number of other Championship clubs, though his hefty price tag may have put off many suitors.
Joel Piroe could be an upgrade for Everton
While Everton are clearly looking to make a decent profit on Ellis Simms’ departure this summer, a swap deal for Joel Piroe may be even better.
The Dutchman has been sensational since joining Swansea from PSV in 2021 and he looks very capable of making the jump up to the Premier League, with his former boss Russell Martin previously labelling him ‘clinical’ and a ‘great technician’.

Piroe looks like a huge upgrade on Simms and a swap deal could be hugely beneficial to Sean Dyche’s side.
The Toffees were previously targeting Coventry City’s Viktor Gyokeres who is set to join Sporting Lisbon for around £18.5 million – a significantly more expensive deal than what Piroe could cost them.
The two strikers have a similar number of goals to their name over the last couple of seasons, while the Portugal-bound attacker is also older.
