Everton are preparing a third bid for Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto.

That’s according to iNews who have reported that the Toffees haven’t given up on signing the Italian.

Gnonto looked to be on his way out of Leeds United after refusing to play for the team since their opening day draw with Cardiff City.

The winger has been absent for meetings with Shrewsbury Town and Birmingham City and is also reported to be training alone as he looks to force his exit.

Despite Everton making two bids below £20 million, the Whites have claimed that they aren’t willing to sell Gnonto this summer.

However, with Gnonto eager to open negotiations with Everton and adamant he won’t play for Leeds again, the Toffees could force their hand with a more lucrative offer.

The report claims the Whites are still eager to reintegrate the 19-year-old into their squad, however anger from both fans and the player could mean a return is too far gone and the Yorkshire outfit may look to cash in.

Everton have already snapped up his former teammate Jack Harrison, who completed his move to Goodison Park with an option-to-buy earlier this week.

Wilfried Gnonto can be a huge boost to Everton

Everton desperately need to bolster their attack and that was made very clear at the weekend.

While Dwight McNeil and Dominic Calvert-Lewin were out injured, their lack of depth was terrifying as James Garner and Alex Iwobi were forced to play out wide.

The Toffees have also parted ways with Ellis Simms and Andros Townsend this summer, while Demarai Gray still looks likely to join Fulham.

The addition of Wilfried Gnonto could be a very exciting one for Sean Dyche’s side, while the Everton boss will benefit from having options in his attack once everyone is fit.
