Fulham have pulled out of the deal to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi.
That’s according to The Sun, who have reported that Everton may now only have to compete with Nottingham Forest for his signature after previously considering a hijack of the Cottagers’ move.
Despite being the subject of a £70 million offer from Bayern Munich before signing a staggering £120,000-a-week contract at only 18 years old, Hudson-Odoi is already looking for a new club to help reignite his career.

The ‘brilliant’ winger netted only four goals across five seasons in the Premier League, before scoring only once in the Champions League during a loan spell with Bayer Leverkusen last term.
With only a year left remaining on his bumper contract, Chelsea are now looking to offload the 22-year-old.
Hudson-Odoi had been heavily linked with a move to Fulham and had reportedly verbally agreed terms with the London club. However, Marco Silva’s side have now ended their pursuit of the forward after they couldn’t agree a fee with the Blues.

It is thought that Chelsea will demand around £8 million for Hudson-Odoi, while Fulham were banking on their £4.5m bid they made last month.
Fulham will no longer compete with Everton for Callum Hudson-Odoi
Everton are yet to make an approach to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi, though they could certainly have a huge advantage now that Fulham have pulled out of the race.
While the Toffees are still struggling financially, they can surely afford the £8m price tag – but is he worth it?

Hudson-Odoi had bags of potential when he broke onto the scene at Stamford Bridge and was predicted to become one of England’s best, however he is yet to reach those levels.
Despite that, Hudson-Odoi will turn 23 years old in November and still has plenty of time to rediscover his form. It’s just whether Goodison Park is the right place for him, with Everton needing top quality players right now.
