Fulham are preparing to cash in to help fund a deal for Demarai Gray.

Marco Silva’s side look set to lose Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer and could use the £46 million fee to splash out on Gray and two other players, according to the Daily Mail.

Mitrovic has been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia this summer and had initially refused to play for Fulham, though he did make an appearance off the bench in their visit to Goodison Park at the weekend.

Al-Hilal have now reportedly tabled a fresh £46 million bid for the striker and it looks increasingly likely that he could depart, leaving Silva with plenty of cash to boost his attack.

Gray has been heavily linked with a move to the English capital all summer ahead of his contract expiry at the end of the season.

Despite signing the ‘unbelievable’ winger for only £1.7 million two years ago, reports have claimed that the Toffees will demand over £10m for his signature.

Fulham had so far seemed hesitant to bring Gray in, however Mitrovic’s looming exit could pave the way for a move to Craven Cottage. The Premier League outfit are also looking to add Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi and Leicester City’s Timothy Castagne to their squad with the £46m.

Everton are ready to make a decent profit if Demarai Gray joins Fulham

Everton are clearly very open to Demarai Gray leaving this summer as they continue to be heavily linked with a number of replacements.

The arrival of Jack Harrison and Arnaut Danjuma already pushes Gray further down the pecking order and the Toffees will now just be hoping to get a deal done sooner rather than later.

If Sean Dyche’s side can make eight-figures from his departure then that could go a long way in strengthening their squad even further.
