Nuno Espirito Santo has an offer on the table from Everton and is in negotiations over taking over at Goodison Park.
As per Spanish outlet AS, Nuno also has a proposal from Crystal Palace.
And Nuno has apparently identified the first man he wants to take with him if he gets either job.
That’s striker Maxi Gomez of Valencia, who he reportedly tried to bring to Wolves when he was there.

The report claims that Valencia aren’t looking to sell Gomez this summer.
But their financial situation and the impact of the pandemic on finances might force them to do exactly that.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Valencia have apparently had plenty of conversations recently with Gomez’s agents regarding his future.
Of course, the first thing which needs to be decided is Nuno’s own future.

On paper, Everton offer a better project and the chance to manage a bigger club than Palace.
That said, you can never underestimate the impact of living and working in London, especially for those who come from overseas.
Perhaps Nuno is also sounding out how much his prospective new owners and chairmen would back him with Gomez.
Everton do need another striker to share the burden with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but the balance as ever is in getting someone of the right standard who is willing to spend some time on the bench.
